Okay, so. And, since I'm already making a 70, that'll put my grade somewhere in the 60's. I CAN'T FAIL. MY PARENTS WILL KILL ME. And, considering the fact that I would love to go to a good college (and the one I really want to get in to is way expensive, not to mention super exclusive), I have to pass that class. With flying colors.
The thing is, my stupid teacher doesn't ever give us any relevant information, so we have to read the book. Which would be understandable, except for the fact that the stuff on the test DOESN'T COME FROM THE BOOK. God, what else am I supposed to do?!

Well, we've had a death in my family. My adopted uncle's biological grandfather. Technically, he's not related to me, but I loved him just the same. We went to the funeral on Thursday. Apparently, he had 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Wow.

Some kid at my baby brother's daycare got swine flu, and since he was in contact with the girl on Monday, my mother thinks we're all going to die. Jk, jk. But really, she's paranoid, and none of us are allowed to go anywhere. It's stupid, not to mention dreadfully boring. But on the bright side, I have plenty of time to write fanficiton now!

Speaking of, I found a prompt on LJ called 50scenes, and I'm planning to do one for Teen Titans. There will be a lot of BBxRae, possibly some RobxStar, possibly some KFxJinx, and definitely some character-centric fics. Actually, the first one is Terra-centric... Lots of people hate her, and I would too -- one final good deed doesn't make up for so much evil -- but I see too much of myself in her to be able to. I finished the first on earlier today. One down, 49 to go!

I watched the movie Knowing last night, and I have to say...
IT WAS FREAKING AWESOME.
Kinda creepy at some points, but still. Overall, it's a great movie, and we were making fun of it the whole time, which made it slightly less creepy. My little brother was afraid to sleep in his room, but the fear was needless. It's not supposed to be a scary movie, per se, just a suspense thing. For those of you that have seen the movie Signs, with the aliens, you know what I mean.

Yup. I'm, like, obsessed with the song Here We Go Again by Demi Lovato. I really like the line, "but it's just another pretty lie, 'cause I break down every time you come around," so I went a little crazy and made three versions of the same avatar. Finally. After so long, I'm actually posting. So, after camp, I went to Florida for two weeks. I kinda thought I'd be able to post. Well, obviously I was wrong, and so I haven't posted for roughly three weeks. So sorry to anyone who was looking forward to me posting after camp (like anyone was XD)... So, to commemorate my homecoming, there are three new siggies and one new avatar! Only the first two sigs are avaliable for use, however. The avatar and th last sig were made for Socks on Warrior's Wish, so no stealing them, please. Anyway, here they are!

My right arm hurts like crap. Y'know why? 'Cause I just spent the last two hours making Raven into a cat pixel. Cloaks are a pain in the butt, seriously. But I really like how it came out. I left the ears poking out of the hood just because I didn't like how it looked without the ears. Anyway, here it is.

Well, it got filled up a little again. This banner took me maybe five minutes to make, but I rather like it. I saw a siggie on Ww with this really nice aged effect, and I thought I'd give it a shot. I think I did all right. ^^

I just got Paramore's Riot! album yesterday (way, way, way late, I know), and I have since listened to the song Fences like, eight times. Seriously, that song is freaking amazing. So I made a (very bland) graphic with the lyrics.

As much as I'm glad that school is almost over (10:00 Wednesday morning!), I'm also really sad that is has to end so soon (Soon? June 3^rd? WTF?!). My English and Choir teachers I'll especially miss, and probably my Spanish teacher, too, not to mention all the friends that I only see in school...

There was a food fight at my school yesterday. I was too worked up about the choir thing to remember about it, but still. Like the title says, it was awwwwwesome. Also, it the first real food fight I've ever seen. But I actually missed most of it, 'cause I was at the vending machines getting a Dr. Pepper. I heard lots of screaming, and at first I thought it was a fight, so I went to look, and saw: 1. People running at me (one of my best friends jumped over a table), and 2. Lots of stuff flying through the air. So then I ran back and got my soda. Then our principal got really pissed off, and that wasn't fun... But whatever. It was still, like, the highlight of my entire week.

Yeah. So. Y'know my choir audition?

WELL, IT SUCKED.

Seriously. My voice cracked, and I messed up really badly on one of the songs, and he made me sing the high key on the Star-Spangled Banner. Even after I told him I couldn't hit the high notes. I was shaking the entire time, and I cried when I was finished.

But enough with that. My friend's fifteenth birthday was today. Happy birthday, Akeno-chan! She got a Twilight poster with Edward and Bella on it. I love Twilight... Good thing she does, too. Anyway, here's the birthday graphic. Akeno-chan loves We the Kings. ^^

ONLY TWO MORE WEEKS OF SCHOOL LEFT!

Then I'm off to camp, and then to Florida! I can't wait. Next week is my last week of school, and it's not even an entire week, as we have Memorial Day off. Then I have exams Monday and Tuesday, and one on Wednesday (last day of school). I only have to stay until 10 AM that day. Then I can officially say that I survived my freshman year of high school. Yipee for me. I swear, I live for summer. It's so nice to not have to get up at 6 AM every day...

I have another new layout (obviously)! This one is darker, which I like, but it has MUSIC. My life revolves around music. So, naturally, I decided I'd use it. Hah...

And speaking of music, I have an audition for my school's Selcet Choir on Friday, and I think that when I go in the room to sing, I'll pass out. Or throw up. Whichever comes first. It isn't so much the singing that scares me; I can sing in front of my class of about 40 girls no problem. It's who I'm auditioning for. If it was my teacher, it would be fine, but it's not. It's her husband (the director of the music department), and... HE SCARES THE CRAP OUT OF ME. So, that should be fun. I'll shut up now.

Yes. I rather like them, really. One is very, very simple, one took me about 45 minutes to make, and the other is in the same style as my Ayu and Nina ones. Anyway, here they are.

So yeah. I read the awesome-est fanfic yesterday. I called You and Me, by an author named Audley. If you are a KyoxTohru shipper for Fruits Basket, you should read it. It's pretty dang good. And, if you listen to the song You and Me (by Lifehouse) while you read it (only at the part the song comes in, though), it's even better. It brought me to tears, literally.

Haha... Yes. I love/adore/am smitten with Fanifiction.net. It is amazing. Not that it hasn't always been, but still. I am, however, disappointed by the utter lack of V.B. Rose fics. There's only, like, four (two of which I wrote, one of the aforementioned that is by any means good) on the whole site. It is discouraging, but I digress.

School is the suck. Seriously. Although I did watch a video of an autopsy yesterday in Biology, and I gotta admit, that was pretty cool. I'm in such a good mood today. Y'know why?

I READ THE TWENTY-SECOND VOLUME OF FRUITS BASKET. OMFG. *biglonghugegiganticfangirlsqueal* HOLY CRAP. I'm not going to post what happens, for the sake of the readers who haven't read it, but... I'll leave it at this: I cried. Right in the middle of my algebra class. Then I cried again on the bus ride home, because I read it AGAIN. *contented sigh* So, yeah, hence the good mood. And now... A Few Desktops

Hmm. I've gotten really into making character-themed desktops lately, so here are a few. And yeah, they're all basically the same style.

Ayu
Nina

They're the main characters from a manga called Ultra Maniac. I'm not so crazy about the Nina one, but I really like the Ayu. Did you know Ayu means trout?! I have this really cool siggie that I made too. It's really simple, but I think it came out okay.

Woo, first post! Okay, so, here's the gist. I like making graphics. I'm not the best nor the brightest out there, because I don't have those amazingly awesome, flashy programs like Photoshop, but whatever. The things I make are simple, and often will have song lyrics on them. I especially like making desktop backgrounds, so those will show up most, but the occasional forum signature or avatar will pop up from time to time. This layout is only temporary, by the way. A nicer, cooler one will be up soon (hopefully).
